Do you have it? Do you know what caused it? What we’re your symptoms?
Posting in here as didn’t quite know where to post this in Health. Have been having GI issues for years. Has been investigated as IBD, but my gastro now says no it’s unlikely. Had further testing done and it’s come back that I have moderate pancreatic insufficiency. Dr Google tells me that this is usually related to Cystic Fibrosis (which I don’t have) or Chronic Pancreatitis, which I don’t think I have (symptoms don’t seem to match and 70% is linked to heavy chronic alcohol abuse over 5-10 years). 😬 I do enjoy a few glasses to a bottle of wine on the weekend and on holiday, but definitely not an alcoholic! Sometimes linked to diabetes, but I have had blood sugar checked as recently as about 4 months ago and all fine. Just wondering if anyone else had this and if you could tell me about your experience?
