I’ve never had a freezer! Am single and have always planned my weekly shop so that I have exactly what I need for meals each week.
I want to get into batch cooking more, plus I’d like to start buying some frozen food in the hope of saving some money. I have a Smeg fridge which I saved for ages for when I bought my first home. I considered buying a chest freezer for the garage, but the fridge is nearly 18 years old and will likely need to be replaced fairly soon, so it makes more sense to get a fridge/freezer for the kitchen.
I’d love another Smeg, but really can’t justify the cost. But I’m feeling totally bamboozled by the amount of choice out there!
Would love to hear your recommendations (photos would be nice), or your “do not touch with a barge pole” warnings.
I’m feeling strangely excited about the possibility of going to do a frozen food shop 😂
