Facebook - reporting a post - is it anonymous?

Facebook say it will always be anonymous if you report a friend’s post, but is it? I’m not sure if I trust them.

A friend has posted an (to me) offensive anti-vax post and I’ve never felt the need to bother reporting a post but this one I feel needs to be reported (she has already been cautioned by Facebook for her anti-vax posts). I’m furious but I don’t want to fall out with a lifelong friend, but this post should never be out there to be shared again.

I think I’d jut remove her as a friend.

It is anonymous I have had to do it twice, once for racism and another for inappropriate adult content and neither person knew.

I sent a screenshot of the posts to three friends to ask if they thought I was being unreasonable and all were shocked etc by it, so I feel I’m not being unreasonable. So it’s up to Facebook now.
