It was a golden age of comedy.

We went to the Bowie Bug last night at the BFI (best Christmas present ever!). He was so low key he packed up all his gear himself whilst the audience stamped for last orders at the bar! He finally made his way in and was just quietly chatting in a corner with his friends. I hovered annoyingly until he noticed me and thanked me for coming. There was a lot of chat about how good it was of me to come out on a wet night in Jan whilst I gurned at him and couldn't think of anything to say. He politely ended the conversation such as it was and I returned to my DH. He is short and hairy and very lovely .
