Can anyone recommend one that's legit and easy to use?

Where I can contribute to "pots" for holidays emergencies, Christmas etc.

Starling bank, I use them for my day to day spending and short term savings. You can have multiple pots and set savings targets, and now you can pay DDs from them (not done this myself as my DDs go out a different account)

I've also heard really good things about Monzo for the same type of thing

@TheChild is it one app with separate pots? Do you "have" to put a certain amount in? Thank you!

Yes you have your main account and funds in there you spend as it's a current account, any money you put in your pots you can only then spend if you move it out the pot or have a DD set up to come out of it. There isn't a minimum you can have per pot, I have a few that have been 0 balance for a while, not sure if there is a maximum amount per pot. The app is really good and so easy to use as well.

That's great thank you. I dont want my main current account to change but could really do with the savings pot aspect

With my nation wide account I have about four different areas I can put money. Also have two other bank accounts and for small amounts, premium bonds... Not for long term saving but smaller sums.

I have a joint account and my own account with Monzo. We have loads of different pots set up, from food shopping to school expenses! Really simple to use, you can lock pots for a certain amount of time, use the round up function that moves the leftover pennies into a pot etc. You can also personalise them with your own pictures 😂. We use the joint account as our main account, but I still also have a Santander account where all my personal DDs come out.

@LER83 thank you, sounds similar to Starling then. Do you suppose it's OK to use it just for the savings pots?
