Has Andrex loo roll become less soft?

Or did we just get unlucky and buy a dud pack?

Yes! My DH and I were saying that a few years ago the Andrex loo rolls were much fatter and the paper much softer than it is now. The Andrex I buy now is like the cheap stuff from years ago.

This is the first time this has happened to us - we only bought this pack a few days ago. The texture feels really rough and I wondered if they'd changed something very recently.

Yes. It changed to a wavy pattern a few months back which DH is kindly finishing off and I went onto the Puppies on a roll one.

Weird.
