Holiday with a toddler - winter sun?

I am DYING for a holiday- we haven’t had more than a night away since March 2019 and now have a very full on 19 month old.

How have people managed to go away with toddlers and actually relax? Is it completely bonkers to think about going abroad? 🙃

Id love to hear your experiences x

It’s far from relaxing, but it’s a change of scene. It’s always a relief to get back home to a living room set up for a toddler.

It won’t be anything like a holiday you had pre-baby, but you might enjoy the change.

We've been away a few times with DS, who's now 2.5 and I find it relaxing Grin. Usually I work full time, so just not having to do my demanding job is amazing.

We just got back from a warm trip and it was AMAZING. DS is now 2.5 and he had an amazing time and was so knackered from playing in the pool and at the beach that he slept 12 hours a night Shock. I think it depends on your child though - DS has always been a "go anywhere" baby and now toddler, he's always liked new places and new things. Probably sleeps better in a hotel than at home.
