A maths teacher regaling stories of their youth and slaughtering animals with their df... Apparently if you cut the head right off there is no blood..

Year 8 class.
Ds asked I don't speak to school but isn't this a bit grim?
*Details toned down for the fragile..

Slaughtering? How do you mean, in an abattoir? Hunting? Randomly killing them?
It doesn't seem that awful to me.

Bloodybridget · 06/01/2022 20:11

Well it would be grim if randomly killing!

On their farm I assumed.
In a maths lesson?
Talking about enjoying killing things and telling people is a bit odd...

You need to get more details before getting annoyed about it. You said the word assume which would indicate that you haven't sat down with your son and discussed it in detail. Also sometimes what kids tell you and what really happened can be two completely different stories. I am not saying they lie but stories can get jumbled up.

Context is everything.

Not really sure why you would want to 'speak to the school' though.
