11 weeks pregnant & bleeding

Has anyone had any experiences of bleeding in pregnancy?
I’m 11 weeks & 3 days, I’ve had two scans, one just yesterday & both have detected a heartbeat. I’ve had no pain & the bleeding has stopped but I’m very worried & wondering if anyone has had the same experience?

Yes, she turns 16 shortly. It was at 11 weeks in my first pregnancy. It happened for a couple of days then stopped. No reason ever found but I did have a low lying placenta. We were worried at the time.

Second pregnancy it happened at around 7 weeks and 12 weeks. At 12 weeks a blood clot was identified outside the sac the baby was in. Bled for 2 weeks as it dissipated but baby was fine. That baby is now 14.

A friend was hospitalised for a week with severe bleeding around 12 weeks and her wee girl is now 4.

Try not to worry. There can be lots of reasons for it to happen and the baby can be fine.
