In waiting room for hysteroscopy been a nervous wreck with horror stories about the oain.
Woman just come into waiting room after hers crying as she'd passed out they've Brought tea and biscuits.
I'm in soon feel like walking out I am such a wimp

Feel so sick already they told me to eat lunch as I'd be having a local but couldn't eat anything as busy at work

You're going to be ok. Everyone has a different experience and panic is your enemy. Breathe deep and try to go to your happy place.

I cried before mine I was so scared but they were really lovely and said they’d go really really slow and it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought. Focus on something nice to do later!

You're in no way a coward - a coward would have either left already or not turned up at all!

Do let the staff who do the procedure know that you are feeling very nervous. I'm the sort of person who feels better the more I know about something, so you could ask them to explain what's going on as it happens.

Oh yes, and do plan something nice for yourself afterwards. Focus on your reward through the procedure.

I had one years ago and the pain was no where near as bad as id been told it was. Good luck op.
