Base layer with a hood (but no zip!) and thumb holes, for a teenager/XS adult...

MN has helped me find specific clothes for my youngest who is autistic with sensory issues around clothing before so I'm asking once more!

Has anyone seen such a thing? We have one that came from a charity shop but it's had the label removed! But DS won't take it off atm 😬 so I want to find a few more. Its some sort of soft fleecey fabric with a nice snug hood and thumb holes in the cuffs.

He won't wear anything with a zip at the neck, just to complicate matters further.

Eternal thanks to anyone who can suggest anything!

Don't think they have thumb holes, and there are some bad reviews, but have a look at Dare2be hooded guard base layer with hood.

DD had a gap one a few years ago. Not the type with the branding on it.

The thumb holes can probably be ditched (or more likely improvised Grin) but the hood is a must! I'll look now at the suggestions, thank you Flowers

The Lands End ones reviews say its really thin, not fleecy material. I would also be interested in a similar hoody for DS - soft material a must.

Thanks, needs to be a skin tight base layer though so he can wear another layer on top without "feeling like a parcel" Hmm Grin

The sports shoes one looms promising though thank you!

This

I've had something similar from Sports Direct- but ladies

The majority of h and m sportswear have the thumb holes. I got a soft fleecy hoody from there last year.

Is this too feminine? The sizes aren't generous and it's thin fabric (but nice and warm) so you'd easily get something over the top of it www.tikiboo.co.uk/collections/hoodies/products/black-slate-cowl-neck-hoodie

You can make your own thumb holes easily enough, so I'd concentrate on the other requirements.

Nike running tops, Next also do men's tops with thumb holes as do under armour. Decathlon do a range too - look for skiing base layers.

I love a thumb hole!!
