Interview help

I have an interview tomorrow for a manager position.
Can anyone offer any generic advice about what questions they might ask (obvs it can’t be specific as I’ll not share the specific role ).

Any general tips?

It’s my first manager role so I have limited management experience to draw on.

Have a handful of real life examples you can talk about which demonstrate when you have used your management, communication skills etc. I often find I forget there if I am put on the spot! Have a few questions for them, as you will always be asked if you have any questions and it shows you are keen. Also, have a response up your sleeve if they ask about salary expectations! Good luck!

Question at the end it’s good to have … your company has (google a fact that relates to the company and the department with the vacancy ) how do you see this role fits into the corporate expectations of its clients.. or ask what keeps you working here (used that when I’ve gone brain dead from their dull questions many times)

How would you deal with conflict within your team?

What will you do on your first day / shift?
