First time doing a whole class party in our local church hall.

Do I need to include anything else in the party invite? We've not been to any yet so can't look at what everyone else is doing!

@mdh2020

Make sure you have someone on the door so children can’t wander out. It’s a nightmare of mine because it happened at a party in this area. How are you planning to entertain the children?
I'd expect parents to stay and supervise for this very reason. I'm confident at handling large groups of young children (I work with them) but a lot of people wouldn't be and it's stressful enough hosting a party, without the fear of a child making a run for it!

Don't add "drop and go" for a 4 year olds party. Supervising all the kids will be a nightmare if you're trying to serve food etc.

Send the invites nearer the time. If they all turn up plus siblings and parents it will be a nightmare plus you will need tons of pizza for all the extra people.

I'm another one who thinks 2 hours is too long for that age.
