Country Hotels in Herefordshire

Can anyone recommend a Country Hotel in Herefordshire?

I'll be going with my DM who is in her 80s. She is quite frail and infirm. We'd like somewhere that has fairly level grounds/gardens where we can take a stroll, sit outside to drink tea and read/knit etc. Ideally one within short driving distance of a quaint/picturesque town (you get the idea) where we can have a mooch round some interesting shops if we feel like it.

Worcestershire rather than Herefordshire (10 miles or so to the border) but The Elms at Abberley is fabulous. Lovely grounds, great food, spa. Between Bewdley and Tenbury Wells, two lovely picturesque and interesting towns.

Holme Lacy has lovely flat grounds with some paved walkways. It has quite a few rooms on the ground floor too.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have been doing a bit of a Google search but it's so difficult to find out things such as "are there steps down into the garden, the dining room etc" , "do rooms have showers rather than baths". I can see some phoning around will be required, 🙂.
