Sausage casserole - slow cooker

I think I've messed up! My first time using a slow cooker today and thought I would try a sausage casserole first.

I browned the sausages first and then added them to the slow cooker. But... I only put it on low for 4 hours and then put it on high for last half an hour (4.5 hours in total).

Am I going to get food poisoning?

Should of said - I've already ate it and then realised after. They looked okay.

I have cooked food in the slow cooker like this, so as the sausages would be partly cooked anyway in the pan (as per some recipes) it should be fine.

They'll definitely be ok.

They'll definitely be ok. I always get the fear of slow cooker sausages because I always manage to make them go all.... flaccid... Even if I brown them off first.

Thanks everyone. I feel better now. I did brown them for longer than the recipe said too but it only dawned on me half way through eating it and my DD had it for tea too. I can stop worrying now!
