Habbio sofas

Anyone bought a Habbio sofa?

It's sold as the most sustainable sofa which appeals to me but I can't find much in the way of reviews and I was wondering what the fabric was like in the heat? It's made from recycled plastic so thought it might not be cool to sit on in the summer (like car seats in years gone by).
Currently have a very old leather sofa, I love it but it's not been easy to keep looking good. Just wondering if to move away from leather this time.

Was just searching to see if anyone had reviewed them after seeing an ad on instagram! Most sofas have manmade fibres these days, if it's woven into fabric rather than being a fake leather like the old carseats I don't think it'll get super hot in the same way.

This is another sustainable sofa, but much more expensive.

Hi, I saw you post and thought I would reply about our Habbio sofa. After a huge amount of research trying to find a small corner sofa without loads of chemicals we ordered a Habbio in September 2021 when they had literally just come out. So I guess we have had it nearly 6 months now. It was a bit of a gamble as there were hardly any reviews but we were redecorating the living room and discovered the frame of our previous 20 year old sofa had broken and was beyond repair. This ticked all our boxes so we went for it. Overall we are really pleased with it. It is really comfy and has not sagged at all since we got it, it still feels and looks like new. We got HBO2 in pumpkin and we love the colour. The only issue we have had is that it was not as easy to put the corner one together as claimed. We managed, but will probably not be taking it apart and regularly changing the covers! In fact we considered getting a second set of covers and decided against it and got some throws to protect it instead, which were much cheaper. Maybe when my teens fly the nest we might take the throws off, but for now we want to keep it clean! I was pleased to see that they are now saying the velvet fabric is washable on a gentle wash. I can't see myself doing that often as it would be a big task taking it apart to do so, but it is nice to know that it can be done occasionally. I think with a regular (not corner) it would be easier to take apart. But overall I would recommend it, it seems very well made and should last, hopefully we'll get 20 years out of this one too and it is super comfortable too, so we are very pleased with it.
