We have 3 boys- 1 x 12yo and twin 10yo's.

Currently watching 'around the world in 80 days' and loving it. Previously all enjoyed his dark materials.

Is there anything else we could all watch together which is good, and not too rude (one DT is quite easily shocked by language or rudey-nudey stuff)?

Have Netflix and prime, and an old school (!) DVD player and not adverse to buying them still!!

Want something we can all watch on a Sunday evening and enjoy.

My Family and Other Animals. There were a few series of that.

elaeocarpus · 05/01/2022 14:42

The Lemony Snickett series on Netflix is very good

WisestIsShe · 05/01/2022 14:42

elaeocarpus · 05/01/2022 14:44

Fresh off the boat

Outnumbered

Fresh prince of bel air

Superstore (excellent!)

Modern family

We've all enjoyed those as a family (late primary and early secondary ages)

sunlovingcriminal · 05/01/2022 14:48

Atlantis - very similar to Merlin. Star Trek original and later series. Marvel and Star Wars series' but not Agents of Shield. Miss Marple, Robot Wars, that weird Lego Masters competition.

Chachama · 05/01/2022 14:51

I second a series of unfortunate events on Netflix, it’s brilliant!

LadyCatStark · 05/01/2022 14:52

Young Sheldon on Netflix is the best thing I’ve watched in a long time!

LongestBedtimeStoryEver · 05/01/2022 14:53

Dr Who Smile

MillieMollieMandi · 05/01/2022 14:53

Locke & Key is excellent, my 12 year old DSs loved it.

fairylightsandwaxmelts · 05/01/2022 14:55

What about some slightly older shows? Things like:

My Family (currently all on iPlayer).
Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Fawlty Towers.
Blackadder.

SittingontheSidelines · 05/01/2022 14:58

Lost in space.
Young Sheldon
Malcom in the middle.

Calendulaaaaa · 05/01/2022 14:58

Taskmaster. There's a bleeped version but we don't bother.

thefourgp · 05/01/2022 15:00

Ghosts on bbc iplayer
The mandalorian on Disney

Snoopsnoggysnog · 05/01/2022 15:00

Cuckoo. Might be just on the edge with the younger ones though.

SittingontheSidelines · 05/01/2022 21:51

Oh just thought of another one mine all liked (and me too) Agatha Raisin.

Also new series recently The Larkins and All Creatures Great and Small. Both of these are based on books and have been serialised before.
