Anyone got a New Scientist sub?

DS had a sub - now the renewal is up and it’s £65 a quarter (eek). They have a ‘student’ offer but don’t actually tell you what it is.

I have seen one of these magazine sub sites offering £148 for an annual sub (maybe it’s for new readers only - so get the 10 for £10 offer?)

Any ideas of there is a cheaper way to subscribe?

It often pops up on facebook, something like £10 for ten issues..... or maybe through a library app?

Yup - then the price rockets! He went off to renew, thinking it would be about £60 - then sent me a screenshot of £216 for a year if paid upfront.

I can read it for free through my local library's app
Worth seeing if he can sign up to the library and then use it from there

Have they not offered him some sort of deal to renew his sub? via email or a letter? If not, maybe he could ring them and see if they can offer him a reduced rate?

Ot was was just a link they sent through.
