I follow Sir Patrick on his official FB page as I love his clips of him reading poems, plus he rescues dogs...:)

Anyway my dh looks VERY like him ..to the degree he's been followed at Heathrow etc. So I popped a pic up on his New Year post...and Patrick replied and asked me to do a friend request Grin

My (adult) kids think it's hilarious and SOOO want to take dad to comicon dressed as either Start Trek guy or Marvel....

There's an account on the Patrick steeart page spamming and asking people to request it but it's not him, they've just put a tick as their profile pic so it looks official. Are you sure it's not that?

He is a nice bloke. I had him as a passenger in first class when I was cabin crew.

I'm afraid that's a scam account, OP SadI went and looked and found your post quickly and the reply is just a spammer pretending to be PS. It's also quite easy to link your MN name to RL name so I would report this thread for deletion if you are worried about that.

Didn't you notice all the others he asked to friend request him?

My friend fell for this with a Ricky Martin spammer. He convinced her she was getting VIP tickets to see him.

Definitely a fake account asking you for the friend request I'm afraid.

The spam account is suggesting friend requests to almost everyone that comments. Id delete your comment there and get this thread deleted too.

Shame it was a fake account.

DD (14) has had a few Stranger Things actors interact with her on their Instagram posts over the years (Matthew Modine, Millie Bobbie Brown and a couple of others! She was absolutely over the moon Grin I can confirm they were the legit actors.

She's also had a few "famous" TikTokers answering her questions and she is doing quite well with her own TikTok following, 18k followers and one of her edits had over 365k views all she needs now is Jimin from BTS to notice her and I think I'll be having to scrape her off the floor Grin
