Cloth nappies

Not sure if there’s a more appropriate section for this, but I was just wondering people’s experience with cloth nappies and milestones

Probably just being a precious FTM but my 3mo is in cloth nappies and i feel like they’re so bulky it’ll be harder for her to roll over, crawl etc. She was almost rolling over in a disposable nappy but now she just lays on her back as if she’s stuck.

Any experiences would be appreciated Smile

I didn't use cloth nappies with my baby but friends who did got rid of them pretty quickly. Feedback they gave me was that clothes are not made to house the nappies, their babies were soaked in the morning (and so were their beds) and finally, as you've noticed, their babies just couldn't move in the bulky nappies.

My eldest 2 used cloth during day, disposable at night. They weren’t the first and weren’t the last to crawl/walk. One of the earliest girls in the NCT group to crawl wore clothes nappies though. My youngest wore only disposables, but she never learned to roll from back to front before she walked!
