How long are at- home PCR test kits taking to arrive...?

Showing symptoms so I took the LFT on Monday evening and tested positive.

I managed to order an at home PCR kit this morning as there are no walk-in centres near by (I don't drive and obviously don't want to infect anyone should I be positive).

How long is the turn around time from ordering the PCR kit to receiving it and from posting it to receiving the results.

Hoping you are all well and safe and thank you in advance.

Sent mine off a couple of days before xmas. Nothing back still. Useless! Did a walk in one instead.

Not very helpful but I wanted to share that my at home PCR took 6 days to get the result back.
Don't forget to take a photo of the bar code so it can be traced.

I ordered one last Monday night around 10pm and it arrived Wednesday morning

@FloweringAcer thank you - gosh that is a long time but I guess with Christmas and new year inbetween plus the sheer numbers... how long did it take for the kit to arrive? Hope you're feeling ok!

@Sunsetsupernova - pretty speedy. Hopefully things are still progressing now and for the future. Just hope the testers and NHS are all ok considering figures etc.

I ordered yesterday at 10am and it arrived today.

I ordered mine on Sunday, arrived yesterday, I posted it back yesterday and waiting for results.

I ordered one Friday night, still waiting

We ordered 2 kits yesterday around lunchtime and they arrived this morning. We’re in the north west.
