Hermes delivery

Has anyone had a parcel delayed with Hermes and know the best option for contacting them? It says on their site to wait 7 days and then contact the seller but I paid for next day delivery 4 days ago and it's been delayed since the day after. It's an outfit that I need for a funeral. Can't really get an outfit from the shops as I'm heavily pregnant and nothing from the shops is likely to fit me properly. I've contacted the shop I bought it from but it says I need to wait 72 hours for a response. I'm stuck aren't I 😞

The best way to resolve it is to contact the seller, there’s no way to contact Hermes. You could try Twitter but i got no response when I tried. The seller will contact them to find where the parcel is.

What date did you place the order? Hermes don't normally deliver on bank holidays or Sundays, so today would be the first normal working day since 31st December.

Thank you! I've contacted the seller but it says they will take up to 72 hours to respond and the funeral is tomorrow 😞 I literally have nothing that will fit over my giant bump!

@CorrBlimeyGG I ordered it on 31st and it did say it was out for delivery on the second and gave me an estimated time and then said it was delayed 😭 I've received a Hermes parcel today from a different store for other things but not the outfit I need so I've got a feeling it's been lost in their depo :(

I wouldn't assume it's been lost, but they're going to have parcels piled up today as a result of the holidays plus sale shopping. Hopefully it will be with you tomorrow.

When ever the tracking hasn’t moved or says delayed for more then a day with Hermes I've assumed it’s lost and I’ve not been wrong so far.

I had a Hermes parcel yesterday, so, if yesterday was a Bank Holiday, they were delivering here.

Hermes is an awful courier. I had two orders despatched 27 November, they arrived 21 December. God knows where they'd been.

I also arranged to return another 2 parcels using hermes collection. That was over a month ago, they never called to collect or replied to my queries. Especially annoying as I paid £3 to return one of them - ended up driving to the shop and returning it myself before the returns window closed.

I spoke to a live chat with Hermes this morning after waiting for a package since November.
They just said it was unaccounted for which is the evidence I needed to Move my case along with the seller

The live chat / digital assistant is called Holly

Thanks everyone. Frankly if it comes after tomorrow it's useless as I literally don't need it other than for the funeral.
I'm gonna have a look round the shops and see what I can cobble together I don't even have maternity jeans at the min as I've just been living in stretchy comfy clothes
I tried the digital chat assistant thing and it was completely useless, just told me it had been delayed which I can already see!

There are major issues with Hermes at the moment, just Google it, they were in the press a lot in the lead up to Christmas. I had three parcels that I ordered in November turn up on Christmas Eve and still waiting for a parcel that was dispatched on 29 December due for delivery on 31 December.

I had the same problem in December with a New Look order,there's no one to talk to on the phone with New Look anymore so I had to WhatsApp them and wait a few days for their reply.My parcel tracking was saying it had been despatched to Hermes and was on its way.When NL looked into it it had been lost in transit and they refunded the money,they also offered me free next day delivery.
I was pissed off tho because there was quite a few presents ordered on there and when I went to reorder them they'd sold out in all the sizes I wanted!That's all because I waited to get in contact because I was told they were coming by Hermes.If I could see that Hermes was the courier before I ordered things it would certainly make me think twice about buying from that place.

Hermes have always been terrible.

They lie about when they've visited, they deliver to the wrong place, and they frequently misplace or fail to deliver parcels at all.

We've had clothes left out in the rain, expensive electronics delivered to the neighbours recycling bin, numerous items simply disappear.

I've had problems with them before always taking ages to deliver stuff or lashing my parcels over my back gate when I've been literally sat in the house at the time. I just don't get why company's still use them willingly when there are much better delivery company's to use. Never ever had a problem with DPD for example 🤷‍♀️

@Firstinlastout the shop is boohoo and they're the same. No phone number or WhatsApp so you have to email or message on Facebook or tweet them 🙃 I'm normally more organised for stuff like this but Christmas has been so busy. I never normally mind waiting but the one time I need something and i just know it won't be here 😒 and next day delivery was £6 which was like half the price of the dress!

Worst delivery company ever sadly. I would never ever use them again and have read some awful stories about them. One included a Gentleman's medals going missing with Hermes and ending up on ebay!!

Boohoo got back to me and have refunded me the difference between standard and next day delivery but have asked me to wait 48 hours to see if I receive the parcel, which is fine except I won't need it in 48 hours 😭
