Fluent in 3 months

Is it possible?
I’m studying online at the moment, I’m only really interested in speaking it, not so much writing.
I’ve learned another language this way to a conversational level but it took me about 18 months and I’m certainly far from fluent

I keep getting adverts for ‘fluent in 3 months’ and I feel like it’s just not possible unless you do some completely unrealistic things - like drop everything and move to a new country, quit your job and only speak your target language for those 3 months

But I will buy the book if it’s realistic I could even just be conversational in 3 months!

Has anyone learned a new language that quickly? Has anyone tried the fluent in 3 months programme

What am I doing wrong?

If it's the same programme I remember, it did rely on you moving to the country and totally immersing yourself in the new language. And by fluent it meant B1 (maybe equivalent to a top grade at GCSE) rather than actually fluent.

There are some good tips though so maybe worth buying the book anyway. If you can devote a couple of hours a day to language learning you should be able to make some good progress.

If you've done it over a longer period with one language already, you are more knowledgeable than most.
Imo it's not realistic unless you go immersive and have opportunities to really use the target language. But you realise this already with the knowledge you gained with first target language!
So I suspect you'll speed up the process with language 2. Good luck!
