Evening, Apologies if this is a repeated question. Im asking any parents that work, what there Employers advise if you have to isolate or stay home with your child due to covid- do you have to use Annual leave for example? Thank you.

I was able to WFH due to my role and as long as I worked my hours by the end of the week they were fine with it even if it wasn’t my normal start / finish.
Others in same firm who couldn’t wfh due to role had the choice of annual leave, unpaid, or 1 month to make up the hrs missed.

Thank you, thats really helpful. During lockdown we worked from home but now we are out more ( while also WFH) its changed as we require cover. I was curious to see what other companies do.

We allow holidays to be used or unpaid leave.
Some sick pay is paid based on tenure
