Car insurance!! Please help.

Hi all,

I’m so confused and annoyed.

I had an accident no fault in October 2021.

I was told it won’t affect my NCB.

I’m due for renwal and company sent email quote. It was the same quote as last year.

I called to ask if they can match another price I found. It was cheaper.

They said no. Then they emailed to say I can no longer continue with them?

I was confused so called them and they said the terms and conditions had changed? And policy is no longer for me. For me to even get a quote they had to re create an account and said £2,000. Initial quote was £800.

Found another company for £800 ish and as I was told it won’t affect my NCB I said 2 years.

I asked for proof so I can upload this and on the paper work it says 1 year.

Called them again and they said as they are still waiting for third party to pay my NCB will show one year instead of 2. When case is closed it will be 2 years.

I called other company but they are closed.

I’m so confused. What will happen?

Will they refuse to insure me if when I tell them the situation?
