Heavy bleeding, early pregnancy?

OK long story. My period was due on the 16th December but didn't come (I had unprotected sex a couple of times). Pregnancy tests kept coming back negative. My period then came on the 27th but I only bled for 2 days really heavily (like soaking through clothes) but not much pain. The past couple of days my boobs have been aching like back after I had my other 2 daughters and my milk was drying up and I was needing to pee like every other hour which isn't like me, i can go all day holding it. I'm not talking dribbles either I was literally peeing bucketloads. Also my periods last 7-9 days. Something was niggling at me to take a pregnancy test so I took one on the 1st Jan and it was negative. I checked it again on the 2nd and there was a faint positive so I thought it was an indent line and took another one as a joke on the 2nd morning and I'm convinced there was a faint positive and my partner thinks he seen it too but it was too faint to tell. Could I be pregnant even though I bled so heavily? Also my period came 2 weeks late in November and I got a faint negative. So I've been getting faint positives for 2 months but have had 2 periods.

I've also had 2 children before and 1 miscarriage so I know what pregnancy and miscarriage feels like... other than the heavy bleeding I wouldn't say there has been a miscarriage but when I was pregnant with my daughters I was sick as a dog and haven't been feeling nauseous now.

I know its a long story but trying to give as much detail as possible thanks!

It could have been two very early chemical pregnancies? When we were ttc we had them 2 months in a row. Sometimes when HCG is very low then the line strength might differ between test brands or even test batches within the same brand, which could explain some of this.

If the lines persist I would probably see the doctor to confirm it's not ectopic as that can sometimes present with lines that vary in strength.
