Family car - 3 kids under 4

Any recommendations please? I don't really want anything super flash. Practical, economical, spacious.

Looking for a diesel car, NOT an electric or hybrid (for various reasons).

Any suggestions?

Something with three separate, proper seats across the back. MPV's like the Ford S-max, Citroen C4 Picasso, VW ttouran and there are more. We had three under 4 as well.

We had a ford s max at that stage. Spacious boot or 7 seater so very useful.

Smax- fyi when I was looking before I bought my Picasso I went to loads of garages.....do not listen to the sales people - I was told many times "this car fits 3 seats in the back" when I knew for sure that they didn't. Do your own research and try your seats in the car before buying. Then try every new seat before buying that....I went to get a new high back booster - same make but newer model and it wouldn't fit as they had made it wider. ..

I drive a Toyota Prius Plus - a 7 seater with 3 full seats across- but it's hybrid not a diesel....hence recommending the Smax.
