I have finally realised why I don’t exercise at home

This is going to sound crazy but I had a revelation earlier on.

I don’t work out at home because DH is in the living room. In the week he’s there working from home, and at the weekends he’s there watching TV, watching sport etc.

There is no other room in the house that would give me floor space to work out!

Now I have had this revelation, I will feel less guilt about signing up to a nice gym!

I would give anything for him to work from the office but they’ve said it’s never going to happen again

Kick him out of the room for an hour while you exercise.

I tell husband I'm going to train for half an hour and he's welcome to stay in the room if he wants. He never does though.

Still do the gym though. Why would you feel guilty?

Well the gym is quite an indulgence at £50/month while we're saving for a bigger home...

I would feel self conscious exercising in front of him but there wouldn't really be enough space anyway!

By office - I mean his work office - his work's building.

We have one lounge, one kitchen, one box room and one bedroom.
