Bannatyne's spa experiences - any good?

I've got a proper hankering for a little spa day - just me on my own! Aahhh!

Wowcher etc quite often advertise Bannatynes deals, but I've never heard anyone raving about them. Any opinions?

I been two I do think the location you pick gives better experience but I can't complain about either mine just what I needed and cheeky 25min back massager was lovely each time

I’ve been to two, one in Essex and one in Suffolk. Both very nice.

I've been to the one at Weybridge, wouldn't recommend it or go again.
Masage not the best, towels had lots of dirty marks, asked for replacement it was the same.

Hmm... guess it will very much depend on location then! I'm in West Yorks if there are any more Yorkshire specific recommendations!

I went to an Essex one and it was not relaxing at all! The sauna, jacuzzi and steam room were off the main pool which was full of kids screaming and shouting, jumping in and playing with floaties. Really disappointing.

Look elsewhere - I recently had a Bannatynes spa day as a gift, but it was awful. Massage itself was fine, but none of the little touches that make a spa day special eg complimentary drink, even had to pay for towels.

The one local to me is pretty good, very clean and the treatments are good.

Each time I have been it was on a weekday during the school term, so it was nice and quiet around the pool, and I have always had a nice time.

It doesn't feel as "premium" as a spa day in a naice hotel, but it's perfectly nice and good value for money
