What items did you buy “for Christmas” which you have now found lurking in a cupboard or the back of the fridge?
I’ve found two pots of olives and a tub of cream in the fridge and a box of ‘nice’ crackers in the cupboard.

Nothing, I ate it all then re-stocked!

Edit: I bought a joint of beef for Christmas then y dh said he’d prefer chicken so I suppose that’s been forgotten.

A side of smoked salmon which got left out of the fridge for one week Confused

It doesn’t smell or anything as it is in packaging but I’ve had to throw it out, what a waste.

We also have 8000 selection boxes left over.

A bracelet for my niece and a santa whoopy cushion for my son. Thankfully we also do epiphany gifts.

My dh discovered posh cheese today with great glee.
It's the stinky stuff - I've already polished off the cheshire.

The cheese had no chance of being forgotten as every time I opened the fridge someone yelled “what’s that awful smell?!”

Stollen, which will go nicely with a cup of tea and Pottery Throwdown later.

CheeseyHam · 02/01/2022 19:02

Bailey's double cream and some brandy butter that was for the Christmas pudding that also never got eaten.

Poppiesway1 · 02/01/2022 19:03

2 selection boxes, 5 little Lindt Santa’s, box of orange and mint matchmakers, and a tub of Pringles.. hidden my bottom bedroom draw that I never go in. I can’t even remember buying them!!..
