My DS will be 6 soon - I'm looking for some suitable chapter books he can read to himself. He's just finished Flat Stanley which he loved and he's also read some shorter Roald Dahl like George's Marvellous Medicine and The Magic Finger. I think he's too young for Harry Potter and CS Lewis etc - I don't think he would understand the stories. Would be grateful for recommendations :)
