Jet lag and vacation blues!

First holiday since Jan 2020.
Thailand for Xmas and arrived back today. Wow I have the blues. I have never cried after a vacation/holiday before.

It should be 8:30pm holiday time but we have gained 7hrs back. Trying so hard to stay awake until tonight.

Has anyone got any tips to beat this grim blue feeling? !

I booked a mini break for the month after! Picked me up a bit.

I think I might do that for the first weekend of Feb. Having something to look forward too has done me good xx

How was Thailand? Where did you go and what did you get up to? Eat? Perhaps reliving some of the excitement from the last few weeks will help? I'd love to hear about it. I'd love to go to Thailand for Christmas!!

Oh it was amazing. (We've been up 36 hrs now and trying to leave it as late as poss to go to sleep).

Went to Phi phi on a boat trip. Visited lots of other little islands. Had sun everyday.
The people of Thailand are the most kind, gentle people I've ever met.

Went to the big Buddha in chalon which is just lovely. You must go, especially at Xmas. Xx

Oh that takes me back OP. I was last in Thailand in 2006. We took a boat to Koh phi phi. Stayed in Krabi. It's just so beautiful and I agree that the Thai people are warm and accommodating. Did you love the food? Thai food is incredible. Your tree sounds magical!

Loved the food! We are having to iso until return PCR is back so having Thai takeout most nights now. So cheap there for food out as well.

We even did very unnatural and went to Phuket central which is an amazing better version of the Trafford centre. They had lots of mini stalls and shops too so local businesses can still make money xx
