Where to donate toiletries and home-made cake?

Having a clear-out. I have masses of toiletries that I'd like to donate as I don't use them/don't like them. But where? Will the local food bank accept them?

What about part-used toiletries eg shampoo, shower gel?

I also have a home-made Xmas cake I'd like to donate. Will food banks accept it?

Thanks!

Home made.cake: olio or similar food waste app. Unopened toiletries - food bank or refuge

Our food bank accepts sealed toiletries. Maybe drop them a message to find out? Ours is happy to provide info like this over FB messenger.

For the cake - unlikely they'd accept it to give out, but maybe they'd cut it and put it out with the tea and biscuits for service users? Or volunteers? Ask them. If not, do you have a community page?

We have community pantrys locally who would accept the cake and unopened toiletries. Part used toiletries I'd put on the local FB freebie group and offer them

Just use them up.
