Where is my retainer?

It's driving me mad! ££££ to get my teeth straightened now I can't find my retainer.
I'm sure there was a poster a few months ago who could "see" where lost things were?
Anyone want to guess? Last time I remember seeing it it had fallen between the bed and bedside table. I've looked all round under the bed and behind the table but it's not there.
We have an en-suite and older children so I know they've not taken it to play with and our en-suite isn't cluttered with lots of family stuff. The empty retainer box is in the toilet cabinet where it's always kept.
It's too big to fall down the sink hole.
My only concern is we had mice over Christmas (shudder ) could one of those little fuckers have ran off with it?

Have you got a dog? My dentist told me not to leave mine out anywhere the dog could get it as apparently they’re attracted to the scent of saliva (nice)

No pets and i clean it in the bathroom.

Are you sure you haven't picked it up since and left it somewhere else?

As somebody who wears retainers going to suggest the pocket of jeans you put in laundry basket, the window sill in bathroom, or just strewn on kitchen table, or on the floor near edge of kitchen table.

If you cant find them, order a new set first thing tues morning.
I feel for you. Ive been through this a few times but luckily always found them before bed.

That's a weird thought about the mouse 😵

Mine has occasionally slipped between the mattress and bed frame, if you have that kind of bed. (I sometimes wake up and take it out in the small hours semi-consciously, and that's when it tends to happen).

I took mine out and wrapped in tissues in the dancing and put it in my bag. And three the ‘tissues’ in the bin when I returned home.

Did you wear it out somewhere and like me, remember at the last minute and do the same, remove it and put somewhere ‘safe’. ?

I'm always "losing" mine. It's see through and I can't always see it on the sink unit in my bathroom!! I have to run my hands over until I find it again!

DD1 wrapped hers in a napkin at a hotel breakfast, and left it on her plate.
The head waiter and I spent ten minutes going through the huge laundry sacks behind the kitchen, picking through dirty napkins and tablecloths (it was a BIG chain hotel). Yuk! Found it, though.
I bet yours is tangled in the bedsheets somewhere.

Is your headboard wall mounted? If so, try looking between your headboard and the mattress.

I often find stuff that belongs on my bedside table in that random gap (no idea how it forms, but it does!)

Found it! I've spent hours of my life on this then I sent dh to look with fresh eyes and it was in the drawer under the bed 🙄
There is no way I would have put it there, it's quite stiff to pull out and there's no way it could have fallen through from the top.
Last time I was in the drawer was when my mum visited last summer and went over her baggage allowance for flying home so I stored some of her things in there till her next visit.
I'm thinking dh prob threw it in there while hoovering to "keep it safe" then forgot about it.
Bit tight wearing it now after not using it for a bit

My teeth would ache now if i tried to fall asleep without it.
