Anyone else listening?

Such nostalgia for me... as someone in their late 50s and a huge fan there's a song for every chapter of my life. So many brilliant songs.

Such a waste of a life. Hope he's at peace.

Loving it. ❤️❤️

I'm listening.

I'm pushing 40, he was my absolute teenage dream (regardless of sexuality)

Cried my bloody eyes out when he died.

❤️

I was lucky and saw him twice in concert.. one of the best live performers I've seen.

Never hear anyone say anything other than he was a thoroughly nice man too. I wonder had he been born at a different time he'd have had a happier life.

He was my mums favourite. I grew up with his music

Tinacollada · 01/01/2022 15:05

I also saw him
In concert - Wembley with my DM

I'm listening too, making me feel very nostalgic and for some reason a little bit sad too.

wishingitwasspring · 01/01/2022 15:08

Anyone want a guess at number one?

I'm going for Careless Whisper

I'm going for Careless whisper too...

I don't think it was a waste of a life, precisely. Perhaps a prematurely concluded one. What a giant of a man, though. Such talent. And all the waitress/'Deal Or No Deal' IVF couple/student nurse stories, just reinforce what a great bloke he was.

Listening while painting my bedroom. Loving it!

Yes you're right. Died way too young, but not wasted

❤️

61 year old listener here - although I liked him back in the day, I think it’s only listening to this now that’s making me realise how wonderfully talented he was. Kissing a Fool is one of my favourites. Agree Careless Whisper will probably be number one.
