What nibbles can I quickly make?!

Neighbours are coming round for drinks and nibbles after lunch. What can I make from the contents of my cupboard?! I've got baking things in. I've got some cheese and crackers I can put out. And grapes.

That sounds enough. If it's unplanned they won't expect much.

If you have frozen puff pastry, thaw it, roll it out a bit and then spread with mustard and sprinkle with grated cheese. Fold in half and roll a bit to stick together , slice into strips out on a baking tray and bake for 15-20 mins until v crispy. You can keep in the fridge and bake as they are arriving.
If you don't have any frozen puff you can do the same but use home made short crust.

If you have any tapenade or olive/pesto spread they you can use that instead just don't get it too wet.

If you want look up palmiers on you tube and do that shape, but you need a very sharp knife to slice them and the pastry has to be properly cold or it squishes

I don't have any pastry in and have never made it... Its that sort of thing I'm thinking of. I'll have to try and make it eh!

Mini cheese scones? Nice served with cream cheese if you have any. Delia does olive ones which are nice. Or some sweet muffins if you have baking stuff in?

What about mini Yorkshire puddings with a bit of sausage in, like a mini toad in the hole?

Do you have any dips in? Breadsticks, carrot, cucumber.

Nuts, crisps

Oh cheese scones, I have made them before! Thanks you lot!!

Fingers or small squares of toast spread with things like cream cheese, pâté, mashed tuna & mayonnaise, egg mayonnaise.

Popcorn with black pepper or celery salt.

Nuts & crisps

Cubes of cheese with celery salt sprinkled over

Slices of salami or sausage on crackers

I've got some soft cheese and pate actually and some homemade bread. Realise I sound like a middle class twat here which I'm not so far as I know!
