Formula milk running out - shops closed

Help!

Where can I get formula milk for a newborn on New Year’s Day when all the supermarkets are closed? Any ideas?

If you have a co-op they may be open. Ours is open 8am-8pm today.

Boots usually open new year's day.

Tesco's open here.

Petrol stations often have shops that are open even on NYD. Probably not huge choice but should have some sort of formula.

I think the express stores will be open today if the big stores are shut. Failing that amazon could be an option.

The smaller shops will be open today, it will just be the big shops. Most small shops stock the popular formulas

Yes the co-op is open around here. Even if they just sell pre made formula if you need it in a squeeze. Also any mum friends who have some spare? X

Most stores are open, possibly Sunday hours but you won't struggle to get formula.

Always worth keeping 2 tubs in so when you finish one the next is ready.

No mum friends, I will phone around all the shops today because google shows incorrect opening/closing times for festive period

I normally keep 2 tubs but last I checked I thought there’s loads left and totally forgot about New Year’s Day closures

Tescos info states they are open i scotland. A cursory google will give you opening hours for your local store

Our supermarkets are open today in the Highlands.🙂 My guess is there will be even more options in more urban areas.

I am in Scotland and out local supermarket which is a Morrisons is open today.

Looks to me like supermarkets are open, with Sunday hours.

Most shops aren’t closed on NYD. Maybe Sunday trading hours though.

There is always a chemist open on bank holidays and weekends, sometimes it's the same one, sometimes it's a few that rotate, you will be able to find out via google.

Then there is Olio and freecycle.

There should be achemist open somewhere.

Smaller corner shops usually open.

If you can't get hold of the formula in a shop, post on a local Facebook page? Other parents often have spare tins that they'd be happy to give you.
God love the supermarkets' NYD opening hours though - when I was little, literally nothing except 7-Eleven was open!
