So turned 25 and something switched in me where I am wanting to start a family. I have always wanted children but never really felt the urge to do it as much as I do now. Been with my partner for 5 years, I am a homeowner and both have jobs if that’s at all relevant.
However we have decided we would wait 2 years or so before trying for our first as we want a bit more money behind us etc.
Anyway, with this all in mind it made me realise god how would I manage a baby and a horse!? I brought my horse back again earlier this year. I owned her when I was younger and decided to sell as I was busy at uni. Now that I have her back I am just so happy and it’s made me realise how much I love being around horses again and she really does mean a lot to me so selling will just not be an option as I’ve been there done that and regretted it. She is on a DIY yard where it is literally myself and one other woman so paying for services wouldn’t be an option and she is a couple minutes drive from me so I wouldn’t really want to move her to another yard. So with all that in mind and people who have experience in a similar situation, when the time came for you, honestly how was it?
