I want to restart my career. Help

I work in a sector that I don't enjoy. I have no qualifications and this is where I get so cross with myself for not buckling down in school because now as an adult with kids and a huge mortgage, it's not just as easy to go back to study full time. However, I do feel I need to go back and do an evening course to brush up my IT skills to become
a bit more ( a lot more) up to date. Has anyone else done this and gotten into their dream job? I mean in literally would be starting at 0 but feel that eventually it could pay off . Help me 🙈
