Party food for parents

We are having a birthday party for DC soon at a local soft play.

The party children are catered for but do I need to cater for parents too? I can’t take in my own food but the soft play offers platters of finger food, pizza, chips etc. but it is expensive for what it is. The party is 3.30 to 5.30 so between lunch and dinner for the adults.

I would happily put some money on a tab for parents to have a coffee if possible with the venue.

Any pointers appreciated!

No way I wouldn’t bother!

I never catered for parents at soft play. I think offering tea or coffee would be nice but they won't need food.

You could buy them a coffee, but I wouldn't bother with food.

I wouldn’t expect food for parents, other than left overs.

I’ve only been to one soft play party with a complementary drink too. I thought the pepper was chocolate shavings and put it on my coffee. The birthday boys dad still takes the piss out of me for it Blush

Thanks all, I won’t bother with food then but offer drinks if anyone fancies one.

@Marmite27 Oh dear Grin

When I went to kids parties no parents weren’t catered for

The last couple I haven’t went to the parents have been catered for really well with beers and Prosecco!

Just get them a coffee!

I'd organise for the venue to provide hot and cold drinks for parents and a plate of biscuits or simillar. Not everyone likes coffee/tea.
