I've just found the crunchie I bought for myself before Christmas and hid then forgot about it.

A nice lady called Ellie at E.on has resolved an error with my gas bill meaning its now £151 rather than £697.58

Took DS (9) and nephew nearly to to beach and they paddled and twirled about all over the place.

DDs new set of guitar strings have arrived and she is happily strumming away again.

I have discovered that Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy is on BBC sounds

A neighbour brought round a bottle of wine for me earlier as it's been a difficult year.

I've ordered my curry and it will be ready to pick up soon.

Someone that I think is gorgeous pecked me on the lips earlier as he said goodbye, so officially I've had a NYE kiss from a super-hot man.

My wonderful friend is coming round in a bit.

I cracked open a chocolate orange that I d been saving. Bloody love them.

My children are grateful, happy little beings and I have adored hanging out with them today.

I had a nice walk with my mum

I cleared out a few bags for the charity shop

I've got nice wine for once the kids are in bed

I got excited when I noticed some Spring bulbs coming up in the garden
I’ve changed the bed, not just sheets but also the mattress protector so I’m looking forward to a good sleep!
The house is clean, took most of decks down first and had a good hoover.
Then I’ve ironed everything in the basket, I mean everything, empty!
Then DH took dog for a walk with DD so had a bit of time to myself, bliss

I went to work and it felt good to be back after having to have some time off with MH.
I laughed with DH.
I'm in bed already with a great book (Bob Mortimer's Autobiography).
I've had a nice tea of egg, wedges and spicy beans.
My sons had vacuumed and mopped the floors while I was at work after I asked them to.

Had a nice lie in until 10.00 am

Got a new job last year and made some lovely friends so looking forward to going back to work next week!

Just ate a lovely plant kitchen marks and spencer mince pie - they are the best!

Watching James Bond with hot water bottle so nice and cosy!

My chickens, which have been 'off lay' for a while have decided to start laying eggs again.

Bulbs popping up all over the garden and the first snowdrops are almost in flower.

Farmer moved a flock of 'in lamb' ewes into the field adjacent to my garden - nice, new neighbours to commune with!

Managed to cook my supper without burning anything - for a change!

Now chilling with a cup of strong builder's tea!

Ds told me he loved me

Doing a sudoko drawing thingy with DD in her new activity book and her complimenting my AWFUL drawings. “Nice footprint drawing”

Getting all my thank you cards posted. Wrote them all yesterday, took aaaages, but I’m old school and love to send gratitude for gifts via pen and paper.

Writing my packing list and buying insurance for ski trip with my Dad in 2 weeks. I feel so happy hoping we will be able to still go.

Cooking homemade burgers for DH and opening a really good bottle of Malbec. He rarely drinks much at all not least wine, so when he does it makes me feel happy, not sure why!

I am laid up at home at present with various health problems, including a broken foot. Five people have been to see me.

1. DD was invited to her friend's house for the first time (after many playdates hosted here!) and had a great day.

1. I got to Argos before it closed and bought a magic doormat that I've wanted for ages. Yes, what a saddo, but it made me happy!
