What fresh Hell is this?

I know it’s mild here in SW London but I have just been chases round the garden by a bloody wasp.

I mowed the lawn in February this year. That was a first and I have never usually mown before the third week of March.

Tomorrow it is forecast to be dry here (Midlands) and I will be mowing our lawn tomorrow. Grass grows above 7 degrees and though I cut it short much later than normal as a final trim, it has continued to grow. I never imagined I would cut the lawn on New Year's Day, but tomorrow it shall be done.

I haven’t worn gloves for 3 days in a row on our dog walk,unheard of in December.

I had one in the house yesterday!
