So had a MMC early October (12 week scan found out bubs stopped growing at 8 + 3). Had d and c which went well and I was ovulating 2 weeks after operation (my body is like clockwork usually and I knew the symptoms). But then bleeding nearly 2 weeks later which I assumed was a period, although after a few days of early pg symptoms alongside the bleeding I did a test and it was a positive, not super strong but still very clear.
Obviously was not a viable pregnancy but did blood tests and talked with mid wife and she agreed it was most likely a chemical pregnancy and was self resolving.
I had a transvaginal scan 2 weeks ago just to ensure there wasn't retained tissue, but the sonographer said everything looked fine though uterus looked thick.
Next day heavy bleed for two days and then stopped so thought maybe heavy period. But since then very light brown spotting on and off. No pain or anything to cause concern.
Just really want to know when my body is going to return to normal.
My first pregnancy I knew when I was ovulating and we got pg the first week of trying and DS is nearly 2.
Second pg which was MMC was second cycle of TTC and so finding bubs had passed was a massive shock.
I'm just trying to find people who have been through similar and hear success stories.
