According to the box, a month out of date.
It's a no isn't it?

If they aren’t moldy and the box is unopened I wouldn’t worry about eating them.

That's what the fella says too 🤔

I often buy up mince pies in bulk when they are selling them off after Christmas. It’s been February before we’ve finished them in the past. A month out of date has never hurt any of us. It’s only a “best before”. At worst they’ll be a bit stale. I’m not suggesting you’re still eating them this time next year, but if the ones you’ve got smell and taste ok you’ll be fine.

Is it a Use Before date, or a Best Before??
I also think of the box is unopened then go for it.

NoNotMeNoSiree · 31/12/2021 01:40

Mince pies are usually best before, aren't they?
If it's best before and unopened, go for it, you'll be fine!
Even if it is open and best before, still fine. Just means might not be as fresh tasting!

DramaAlpaca · 31/12/2021 01:56

They'll be fine. The mincemeat won't go off, it's full of sugar, and the pastry in bought mince pies is that biscuity stuff and that won't have gone off either. You could probably still eat them six months past their best before date.

Well this is all good newsGrin
