Does anybody go to the beach and watch the sun rise on New Year's Day?

I love the idea of this. Looks like sunrise is just after 8am and rain is due at about the same time for me though which puts me off! I always mean to go and watch the sunrise for the summer solstice too.

Hmmm, our forecast not brilliant either. Will give it a miss this year, I think. Sunrise for summer solstice sounds nice. 🌅

Sounds lovely, but our beach is Blackpool and it will probably still have drunk people shagging on it at sunrise 🙄😂
