My and my husband split up and we have decided that he will stay in the house (where we have lived for 16 years) and I will find somewhere new to live. We are doing 50/50 with our kids so where I live needs to be commuter distance for school (so half hour by bus), with a room they can share, a room big enough for me and a spare room that couid be my eldests when they get to old to share.
I have seen about 50 since September houses and none of them have been quite right. I saw one place a couple of months ago that ticked enough box's for me to put an offer on which wasn't accepted. I had my doubts over the location so wasn't that upset. But the buyer pulled out so now they are asking if I'm still interested.
It feels like such a big decision- it's top of my budget, it's by no means perfect (garden is a bit small, no kitchen diner which is what I really wanted) but it's the only place I've seen I can imagine living in. How do you know it's the right place?
