I have just been offered a job in Hailsham and as it is too far to commute (I currently live in London) I am planning to buy in East Sussex. Happy to drive a short distance so will consider towns surrounding Hailsham. Any recommendations - are there roads to avoid buying on or nicer towns to live in? All advice welcomed. We have a budget of around £350,000 so looking for a house rather than flat and need at least 2 bedrooms. Thank you
