Wtf just happened to me

I really want to know if anyone has ever experienced anything like this. I’m currently waiting for a call back after contacting 111 for advice

Not sure if this is relevant, but I had a large tattoo done on my shin yesterday. Very reputable award winning place so no issues with hygiene or anything. I’ve been resting my leg and keeping it uncovered and clean. I also have anemia but this is managed with medication

I got up from the sofa and went into the kitchen. After about 5 minutes, DP commented on the colour of my shin, and it was a really deep purpley red all over. I started to feel really weird and like I was going to pass out. I sat down and I couldn’t see anything, really dizzy, my head was pounding and I started dripping with sweat. My face had apparently gone really pale and my lips and gums had gone completely white. DP was considering taking me to A&E as I looked so bad. After about 10 minutes I started to feel better. I feel a bit cold and shaky and I’m drenched in sweat, but I feel 90% better than I did

Can anyone shed any light on what this might be!? I’ve never felt anything remotely like it before
@TheBodyPiercer do you remember roughly how long the shooting pains lasted with yours? It’s happening every time I stand up, with a kind of cramping pain. I’ve never had it before so just trying to work out what to keep an eye on and how long to expect it for
Hey sorry for the delay. Usually for a couple of days unfortunately. Like I said there is no way to win unfortunately, you move round to much it's going to swell more!

It sounds like a nearly faint to me.

Glad you’re ok (ish). Your tattoo is beautiful, love the colours. Grin

Thanks for all the tattoo love everyone! I’m sure I’ll love it even more when it’s stopped hurting but I’m currently not the biggest fanGrin

@TheBodyPiercer thank you! Glad you didn’t say it took 6 months or somethingGrin

@SpookyScarySkeletons oh bless her, that must have been so scary for her and for you! DP was worried enough about me and I’m an adult let alone it happening to a child
