How are you getting healthy in 2022?

Sick and tired of being ill ALL THE TIME. 2 under 4s who just bring everything back from childcare.

How are you boosting your immune system in 2022? Our whole family needs to get healthier.

Thanks MN- you never let me down!

The usual really: taking supplements, trying to exercise more & eating more fruit & veg & less takeaway.

@snapsieplopp which supplements do you take? I need to start taking some but I'm breastfeeding and it feels like a minefield.

I started vit D (covid) & magnesium as if run down I seem to become deficient & now adding vit C. Just trying to take them more regularly.

I have 3 DC's under 10 and thankfully we are rarely ill ( touch wood) but think there's luck involved with bad illness anyway.
I run a lot so will keep that up but I drink way too much caffeine and I don't sleep well. I need to drink a lot more water, I eat loads of veggies but I'm not a big fruit eater so should increase that I guess .
My DC's didn't sleep for years and years and although they do now I still struggle with sleep so every week I'll aim to go to bed v v early 4/5 nights a week.

I take vit b,d, c and zinc and an iron supplement at times as I have very heavy periods.
Does anyone know if it matters how much fruit you eat if you eat a lot of veg instead?
Also how much water a day and do people really see or feel Improvement with increased water intake ?

Veg is better than fruit really as it’s less sugary so I wouldn’t worry about that abit!

That needs to be my focus really, we have got in a major rut with food and I don’t eat nearly enough veg

i think (for me) its less about getting healthy and more about staying healthy

thats my problem....i go all out to the point of training for and running marathons....then go downwards again

I take vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, and calcium.
I need to do more excercise, and more structured excercise. Something like yoga, Tai chi or pilates. My GP won't prescribe HRT for menopause and I'm worried about getting osteoporosis in the future.
