Co-Amoxiclav... side affects?

I was put on this on 23rd Dec after a cat bite turned nasty.
I feel really rough on it. I swear to god I'm pooping out food I haven;t even eaten yet, not to mention the bloatedness, obnoxious gases and feeling queasy.
I've got a couple more days to go, but the bite has healed.. do I HAVE to take them? Or is there anything I can do to mitigate the effect of these horrible antibiotics!?

I always take probiotics when on co-amox, and it really helps with the side effects.

Yes you have to finish the course. It helps if you drink those probiotic yoghurt things every day and always take the tablets on a full stomach.

Ah thank you both..I'll see what I can get from the chemist tomorrow. I know nothing about probiotics.. is there anything particular...and I am lactose intolerant so need to be mindful of that!

I like Actimel. Benecol is OK too.
